One thing we’ve been battling with in our home garden is the clay soil. It’s amazing how much it can retain water, but once it dries out it is like rock.
Back in September, I started some holes for new blueberry bushes. The soil was rock hard so I filled the 12 inch deep hole with water. The next day, there was still 3 inches of water that had not been absorbed!
All that to say, we have not yet cracked the code on the best ways to work with clay soil, but this article from the Oregonian gives a few ideas that may be helpful if you’re a gardener. The article also prompted me to think, man, I am way better at helping people with their insurance than I am with clay soil!
So, if it’s been awhile since you’ve thought about your car, home, or life insurance, consider us a Sensible option. These are the typical questions we excel at answering:
- Am I overpaying for my insurance or do I have coverage I don’t need?
- Are my coverages sensible for my situation?
- Are there options I should know about?
Text me for a time and we’ll get a good comparison done.
We can’t help fix your clay soil, but we can help with insurance!
