Car prices have been a bit crazy over the last year or so, both used and new.
We’re used to perhaps dealerships or places advertising by cash back incentives or rebates that take down the cost of the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price). Not now!
Some dealerships are increasing the price over the MSRP because of the continuing demand and supply constraints.
Well, there’s an interesting site out there (https://markups.org) that uses crowdsourced data to tracks how much dealerships are marking up their vehicles over MSRP. You can filter by the state of Oregon.
If you’re pondering purchasing a new vehicle, it may be worth taking a look before shopping.
And if you want to a car insurance comparison, please keep us in mind!
